In 2020, when I was 11 years old, I took a Welding Merit Badge class at summer camp and was instantly hooked. I really wanted to buy my own welding kit, so I started offering landscaping services and doing small lawncare jobs for some of my supportive neighbors to earn the money. This included tasks like mowing and powerwashing their yards. That experience taught me that hard work truly pays off.
